onze jours avant la soirée 

des nymphes, lutins, druides, elfes 

pour se coiffer de sa fidèle couronne

AMMERSCHWIHR WALK

Seven days grey

across the street

 a deep black forest

rectangular
from tiny tiles

one could see

behind me
misty hills mostly

a rusty-brown
from vineyards in winter

one could hear

right beside me

a man pruning
electric motor strapped on
like a backpack

 my "bonjour" ignored

 but on my way back

the pruning man paused
for a moment
concenting to a chat

then again

the black forest

with its strip of sky
so very very blue

a stork on a rooftop
silent and tall

and a tower with a face
gazing ahead

Sept jours gris

à travers la rue

une forêt noire

faite de carreaux minuscules
 rectangulaires

on pouvait voir

derrière moi

collines brumeuses surtout

des vignes brunes

humides hivers

on pourrait entendre

à mon coté
un sécateur motorisé

la boîte attachée

aux épaules en arrière

mon bonjour ignoré

 uniquement à mon retour

l'homme qui coupe s'arrête
s'accorde un "chat"

puis à nouveau

la forêt noire

avec son bande de ciel 
plus bleu que bleu

une cigogne sur un toit
en hauteur silencieuse

 une tour avec ses yeux
sa bouche 
le visage regardant 
fixement droit devant
