In my handbag I stuffed a mirror,
my hopes, my impatience, my friendly face, my anxiety,
my chains and shackles,
my dreams and nightmares,
my murmuring voices,
my fury and laughter
and other such treasures,
so I could take the road to find new visions
for more living to do.
